A Sacred Offering of Devotion, Unity and Prayer
On Saturday, 24 October 2026, devotees gathered at Sathya Sai Sudha Mandir in Moorton, Chatsworth, for the sacred observance of Ekādaśa Rudrābhiṣekam, organised by the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council South Africa National Devotional Wing.
With hearts filled with devotion and reverence, devotees united in the chanting of eleven recitations of the Śrī Rudram, offering their collective prayers at the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The sacred vibrations of the Vedic chants, together with the ceremonial offerings and prayers, created an atmosphere of spiritual reflection, surrender and unity. Each recitation served as a reminder of the importance of inner purification, steadfast faith and recognising the Divine presence within all.
“During Rudra-abhisheka, let every moment be hallowed by the thought of Siva.” - Sri Sathya Sai Speaks, Volume 2
Ekādaśa Rudrābhiṣekam is not merely a sacred ritual but an opportunity to turn the mind inward, cultivate purity of thought and deepen one's connection with the Divine.
The National Devotional Wing extends its heartfelt gratitude to the priests, Vedam chanters, devotees, Sevadals, and everyone who contributed their time and loving service towards this sacred offering.
Through these cherished moments, we celebrate not only the beauty of the occasion but also the spirit of unity, devotion and selfless service that brings us together at Bhagawan's Lotus Feet.
Jai Sai Ram.
