Dear prospective student, the information below provides you with all you need to know about the course before you decide to register. This course is a progression from the SSSEHV Introductory Course (Level 1) and the SSSSE (BV) Teacher Training Course—moving from the “budding” stage to the “blossoming” stage of transformation, character development, and self-transformation.
Course Objectives
- To expand participant’s knowledge of the content and the interrelationship of each subject area.
- To introduce topics that lead to greater understanding of teaching and instruction with respect to their application to Sathya Sai Education.
- To expand the ability to apply the principles of Sathya Sai Education in the school, community, home or workplace and initiate a project with the oversight of the SSSIESA.
- To expand the ability to incorporate SSSEHV in the classroom/school/ any other environment.
- To make a personal commitment to strive to become an exemplar of the universal human values thereby experiencing self-transformation.
Course Two provides a more in-depth exploration of the topics in Course One, expanding the participant’s understanding of the interrelationship of each topic, deepening the understanding of the role of Sathya Sai Educare, strengthening application of learning, and a commitment to strive to be an exemplar of the universal human values.
Who Is It For?
All participants in Course Two must have taken Course One — SSSEHV Introductory Certificate Course or SSSSE (BV) Certificate Course. If you wish to continue to actively apply the principles of Sathya Sai Education in your respective roles and see an increase in your personal transformation, then this course is for you.
Recommended for SSSSE (Balvikas) and SSSEHV teachers and those who would like to go on to be SSSSE Coordinators.
Time-Frame & Structure
- Minimum requirement: 48 hours of direct instruction plus further follow-up sessions (as determined by the SSSIESA Training Team).
- Duration: 1 year, divided into 3 modules (each based on a theme).
- Module pacing: Each module spans 3 months, with a letter of completion issued to students who complete the module.
- Progression: Successful completion of Module 1 → Module 2; Module 2 → Module 3.
- Certification: Successful completion of all 3 modules qualifies students for graduation and certification.
- Breaks: 1 month break between Module 1 & Module 2 (July) and between Module 2 & Module 3 (November).
- Module 3 ends: February 2026.
- Credit policy: Modules completed may be credited for one year; remaining modules may be done the following year.
Presentation of the Course
- Format: Fully online.
- Sessions per module: 3 sessions (1 per month), each 3 hours.
- Schedule: Saturdays • 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm (year planner provided).
- Final requirement: Final oral presentation at the end of Module 3.
- Participation: Research and presentation/co-teaching of selected topics.
Compulsory Assignments
- Formal assignments: Research, experiential exercises, and final oral presentation. Minimum pass: 70%.
- Informal assignments: Self-audits (1 per module), mini quizzes in each module, and 2 ungraded leadership quizzes. Quizzes minimum pass: 80%.
Additional Requirements & Information
- Stable internet and sufficient data to attend online sessions.
- Computer literacy.
- Clear understanding of Course 1 philosophy and ongoing engagement with Course 1 material.
- Regular self-audits and active participation in tasks and assignments.
- Google Classroom submissions timeously (to avoid penalties).
- Make alternate arrangements for load-shedding/power outages; load shedding is not an acceptable excuse for missing a session.
- Attendance: Only ONE session may be missed (excluding first and last). Provide medical certificate/letter within 3 days (subject to Board approval).
Support
Peer groups will be set up for mutual support. Each student will be assigned a mentor who will form a WhatsApp group for ease of communication.
