At the Feet of the Master | Dr. Siddhartha Raju’s Visit to South Africa

A Journey of Devotion, Reflection and Divine Inspiration | September 2026

With the Divine Grace and Blessings of our Most Beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council South Africa lovingly hosted a series of special spiritual evenings with Dr. Siddhartha Raju, Associate Professor of English at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam.

Held across South Africa during September 2026, the programmes brought together devotees, young adults, families and spiritual seekers in a shared atmosphere of love, devotion and unity.

Under the theme “At the Feet of the Master,” these gatherings offered an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the loving vibrations of Sai Bhajans, reflect upon the timeless teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and deepen our understanding of the role of devotion, music and spiritual practice in our daily lives.

A Journey Rooted in Devotion

Hailing from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Dr. Siddhartha Raju comes from a family of devotees of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. An alumnus of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, he currently serves as an Associate Professor of English at the Institute.

His journey with Bhagawan began through Sai Bhajans as a member of the Sundaram Bhajan Group. From his University days, he became an active member of the Prasanthi Mandir Bhajan Group and continues to offer his devotional singing at the Divine Sannidhi of Bhagawan in Sai Kulwant Hall.

Having conducted Sai Bhajan workshops internationally and delivered numerous talks on Bhagawan's teachings, Dr. Siddhartha continues to share the inspiration and spiritual values that have shaped his journey with Swami.

At the Feet of the Master

Throughout his visit, Dr. Siddhartha shared inspiring reflections on Bhagawan's teachings, encouraging devotees to look beyond the words of His message and recognise the importance of living His teachings through our thoughts, words and actions.

The programmes provided opportunities for spiritual reflection, devotional singing and fellowship, reminding us that our connection with Bhagawan is nurtured not only through prayer and worship, but also through the sincere practice of His teachings in everyday life.

The series of programmes extended across Gauteng Province, Midlands Region, Phoenix Region, Chatsworth Region 2, and the Eastern & Western Cape Region, bringing devotees together through their shared love for Bhagawan.

Each gathering offered a special opportunity for devotees to reconnect with His teachings, strengthen their spiritual resolve and experience the joy of collective devotion.
