Women’s Month 2026
Her Light. His Love. One Path.
In August, a beautiful wave of pink swept across South Africa as Sisters from KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng gathered to celebrate Women’s Month under the theme: “Her Light. His Love. One Path.”
On 22 and 29 August, more than 450 Mahilas came together - over 400 in KwaZulu-Natal and 50+ in Gauteng - each carrying her own light, yet all walking one united journey in Swami’s Love and Mission.
In KwaZulu-Natal, the National March Pass brought the theme to life: Many Regions, Many Voices, One Heartbeat. Sr. Roshni Singh’s inspiring message, a moving tribute to late Sr. Savy Ramlal, vibrant Young Adultactivities, and the sharing of the Mahila Vibhag Five-Year Vision reminded every Sister of the sacred role Mahilas play in strengthening homes, Centres, families and communities. Hearts left fuller, lights brighter, and each Sister with at least one new name to call for support, encouragement and prayer.
In Gauteng, an afternoon of love, openness and sisterhood unfolded through a Study Circle on the stages of a woman’s journey - Kanyā, Kishorā, Yuvatā, Grihastha, Vṛddhā/Sthavirā. Sisters reflected on women as Shakti: strong, resilient, graceful, anchored in spiritual values, and called to lead by example in home, society and community. The conversation deepened around Swadharma - choosing not just what is right, but what is highest - guided by conscience, selflessness and spiritual awareness.
From both Regions, one clear vision emerged: greater inclusivity and collaboration across ages and Regions; intentional mentorship between younger and older Mahilas; and unity that honours diversity. Sisters also expressed a desire to weave the Five Human Values and Bal Vikas principles more intentionally into future Mahila activities, and to explore topics such as mental health and well-being, mental health and personal growth, balancing family, career, service and spiritual practice, and supporting women through every life stage.
As the day closed, Sisters carried home more than memories - they carried a renewed commitment to walk together on One Path: Love and Service.
May Her Light continue to shine.
May His Love continue to unite us.
And may we always walk together, as one family in Sai.
