Human Values Walk & Float Procession Gauteng South Africa
On 27 September 2025, the Sathya Sai School in Lenasia, Gauteng, blossomed with devotion, unity, and joy as over 600 devotees, children, parents, teachers, and community members gathered for the Human Values Walk and Float Procession. This sacred occasion marked the first programme in Gauteng’s Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, becoming a festival of love and service.
The Walk was far more than a procession it was a pilgrimage of hearts. Each step symbolised a reaffirmation of commitment to the five eternal values: Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non-Violence. Children walked with innocence and purity, parents and teachers with devotion, and elders with gratitude, together radiating the light of the very values Bhagawan established as the foundation of human life. The vibrantly decorated floats added colour and splendour, carrying not only festivity but also the message of Swami’s divine mission: to awaken love and unity in every heart.
In this blessed Centenary year, the Human Values Walk stood as a collective prayer in motion. It reminded all that the truest way to celebrate Bhagawan’s life is to live His teachings allowing love to guide every thought, word, and deed. The gathering of participants from across Gauteng reflected the oneness of humanity. Though diverse in background, all were united in their love for Bhagawan, embodying His timeless assurance: “There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one religion, the religion of love.”
The Human Values Walk and Float Procession set a divine tone for the Centenary celebrations ahead, reminding everyone that true offerings to Swami are not rituals or flowers alone, but the blossoming of virtues in daily life. With gratitude in every heart and the unmistakable sense of Swami’s unseen guidance, the day closed with a shared realisation: the Centenary is not merely a commemoration of 100 years since His advent, but a living call to embody His message — more deeply, more sincerely, and more joyfully than ever before.
