SRI SATHYA SAI EDUCATION IN HUMAN VALUES – INTERMEDIATE COURSE (Level 2)

TARGET GROUP:

All participants in Course Two must have completed either the SSSEHV Introductory Course or the SSSSE(Balvikas) Course. (LevelOne).

This course is for all those who want to continue to apply the principles of Sathya Sai Education in their respective roles.

Course Two takes the learning and experience to a more in-depth level of understanding and application.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • To expand participant’s knowledge of the content and the interrelationship of each subject area.

  • To introduce subjects that lead to greater understanding of teaching and instruction with respect to their application to Sathya Sai Education.

  • To expand the ability to apply the principles of Sathya Sai Education in the Community or Workplace and initiate a project with the oversight of the Institute.

  • To expand the ability to incorporate SSEHV in the classroom and school.

  • To make a personal commitment to strive to become an exemplar of the universal human values.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proof of completion of level 1 Course -Upload certificate issued by the Institute.

  2. Proficiency in English

  3. Basic level of Computer literacy. Must have a PC or laptop and be able to use Google Classroom and have access to Zoom.

DURATION

9 online sessions. Course runs over 12 months.

THEME: Principles of Educare for Inner Transformation

THEME: Educare in practise.

CORE VALUE: Right Conduct

CHAPTER 3: The five transformation/teaching techniques and other compatible strategies in depth

CHAPTER 4  Writing lesson/work plans, themes and projects in educational and other settings      

CHAPTER 5: Encouraging and managing discipline and harmony in various settings.   

5.1 SCHOOL: Behaviour and Classroom Management Techniques.   

5.2 HOME: Family and parenting - unity and harmony in the home/ personal life  

5.3 WORK: Human values and ethics in the workplace

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION:

  • All formal assignments require a minimum pass of 70 %

  • All Module quizzes require a 90% pass mark.

  • All online sessions require compulsory attendance.

  • Students will be allowed absence from 1 of 9 sessions (excluding sessions 1 and 9)

  • Each student is allocated a Mentor who serves as an advisor/assistant during the Course.

  • Students have access to an electronic Course Assessment Guide and a Learner Guide
